Time: Skippers meeting before race - 1:00 pm

Skipper's meeting: This will be an informative session and is meant for all racers and race officials (youths interested in officiating). This includes all sailors taking part in the afternoon lessons as well as any interested sailors from around the lake who would like to learn about racing and/or race officiating.

First race: 2:00. Start sequence 1:55

Which sailors will have the use of club boats?

1. Students taking the 3:30-6pm class (if one is scheduled) will have the use of a C420.

2. Students taking the 1pm – 4pm class will have the use of a C420.

3. All other members and sailors taking lessons in the morning can use the remaining boats. If there are too many sailors they will be placed in teams.

4. Opti/skipper sailors will have 1 st chance at the Optis as this is an integral part of their course.

5. ZZYC has 1 Laser>> which can be used

All those who don't get a chance to race on a particular week will be encouraged to help out with running the regatta.

Wednesday Barbeque and Awards

This year ZZYC will provide the food and drinks for the barbeque at a nominal cost.

Certificates will be awarded for successful races at the barbeque.

Parents are encouraged to come and watch, or help in running the races (no experience needed).

Wednesday Night Teen Volleyball

If you are between the ages of 13-17, and want to play Volleyball this summer, we want to hear from you!

We are hoping to put teams together, who will play in weekly mini tournaments. You don’t have to have played much to participate, as we will try to create evenly matched teams formed with beginners and more advanced players.

Let us know when you will be at the lake, and we

will put you on a team. Drop ins and guests also welcome.
