WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON RACES
– Every WEDNESDAY afternoon from July 6st - August 10th the club hosts a race beginning with skippers meeting at 1pm .

Skipper's meeting: This will be an informative session and is meant for all racers and race officials ( youths interested in officiating ). This includes all sailors taking part in the afternoon lessons as well as any interested sailors from around the lake who would like to learn about racing and/or officiating. All sailors are welcome to stick around after the races for hotdogs, fun with friends and a game of Volleyball.

First race: 2:00. Start sequence 1:55

Which sailors will have use of the club boats?

SATURDAY CLUB RACE
– Members, non-members, with or without a boat, mark these dates on your calendars to come to the ZigZag Yacht Club to race, to watch or volunteer. We are planning a Skippers meeting at 11am for these races and a race start of noon. We are hoping all of our club boats and many private sailboats will join us for a fun afternoon of racing and socialising and preparing for the Club Championship.

ZZYC CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP 2011

Starting with the skippers meeting at 11am . This has become a great regatta for all sailors at ZZYC. It is for members only and in the hopes of encouraging a few more of our older members to join in we are including a MASTERS CLASS for 2011.
This is a great chance for kids and adults alike to get a taste of sailing and racing and a fun way to end the summer at ZZYC.
This race is followed by our very popular Family BBQ and Family Kayak Race which mark the end of the season at ZZYC. We would like to once again encourage all members to come out and watch the races, do a little kayaking, cheer on our sailors and enjoy some friendly competition.
