ZIG
ZAG YACHT CLUB
MEMBERSHIP
REGULATIONS
Regular,
Legacy (adult children of current members) and Associate Membership
- Regular
Memberships are family inclusive .
All immediate members of a family unit (including children
under 30) that purchase a club membership certificate are
full members of the yacht club. The membership certificate
can be paid in equal installments over a three year period.
- Regular
Memberships are transferable .
A regular member in good standing has the right to
sell their fully paid membership to another party.
A transfer fee must be paid to the club equal to one half
of the current issue price of a regular club membership certificate.
- Legacy
Memberships are available at a reduced rate .
Adult children (over 18) of current members
in good standing are eligible to purchase a Regular membership
at a reduced rate (payable in equal installments over three
years) only if they do so before the age of 30. If
they wait until after they are 30 they must purchase the Regular
membership certificate.
- Regular
members can convert to Associate Members .
A Regular member , who is no longer active
at the club and does not use club facilities, can
continue to support the club and maintain their certificate
by advising the club and paying an annual due of $50.00. This
would allow their children to continue to be eligible for
the Legacy membership rate.
- Regular
Members and Associate Members can forfeit their certificates
. A Regular or Associate
member who has not paid annual dues for a period of three
years will forfeit their certificate, their eligibility for
Legacy membership rates and their right to transfer their
certificate to another party.
- Membership
can be limited . The
club reserves the right to limit membership if it determines
that the facilities are insufficient to provide enjoyment
to all members.
