Job Title: Summer Fun Volunteer

Program: Summer Fun

Minimum age: 12 years old as of June 30, 2012

Purpose: To assist in the delivery of a safe and fun recreation and activity program for children ages 4 –10.

Our goal is to provide you with some experience in our Summer Fun Program while enabling you to fulfill volunteer requirements you may have through your school.

We ask that you commit one full week per summer to our program (or more if you are interested).

Job Description:

· Assist and support the Summer Fun Instructors with activities, games and arts & crafts

· Help Instructors to ensure participants are safely engaged in activities

· Interact with participants in a friendly and enthusiastic manner

· Clean up during and after activities when necessary

· Be a role model to participants by wearing a life jacket when swimming

Experience / Prerequisites:

· Babysitting course
